This year Matt and I decided to go to
Salina for Christmas. We had a great time and Great Grandpa and Grandma loved that we came. Josh had a good time with all his gifts and was thrilled Santa found him in
Salina. He knew it was really Santa when his stocking from Lincoln made it all that way:o) We went swimming also Christmas day and that possibly made Josh more happy than his gifts!! On Christmas eve we did the usual and then went and looked at lights. Josh got to see some of
Santa's helpers who passed out popcorn. He ate the biggest bag of popcorn, I think it had enough salt in it for his lifetime!!! He
traveled VERY well to and from
Salina. I think we know he is a 3 hour boy in the car and that is it. More than that and it's a LOT of work and frustration for everyone.

This pop up tent has been the best tent ever. I can smash it in a closet in no time at all and we don't have to worry about him being able to tear a pole
thru the end of it. I told Matt I remember when we would play with a family in town and they had a
tepee. That thing was so much fun and they could just pick it up and put it in a closet. I wish I had that but this will do! Brooke and Amy I'm sure you remember that thing. Did your mom make that cover on it?

Josh with his Christmas stuff!!

hey my post didn't come up bummer i will just call you
Every kid needs a good tent to play in. Grangran (our Grandma) actually made that tee-pee but I have made one for my boys. I just made it out of a heavy duty canvas type material. I think it has 5 sides with 6 poles. We originally used wood (1x2 or something like that) for the poles but had a hard time getting it to stay up and switched to pvc pipe instead.
