10 MONTHS OLD

It’s hard to believe we are almost a year old! This has been the fastest year of our lives. I’m glad he is a growing like a weed, but I would love for it all to slow down.

Joshua is still just as happy as ever and makes us smile more so everyday. His favorite word right now it ah oh. He loves to drop things and say,” ah oh”! He also loves to clap when we say “yea Josh”! He also claps when he doesn’t want to go to sleep; he knows it makes his mommy laugh!
First time with any kind of candy!!!
Yes, he is on our new carpet with his dirty little red body! It was all dry he had been like that for 30 min!

Licorice is one of his favorite things to eat. Looks like he takes after his mom and her sweet tooth! I gave him licorice to keep him happy in the car the other day and he sure had a good time with it. He had it all over him except his cloths! How he didn’t get it on his cloths I will never know. After that his little tongue was so red.

He is also trying to crawl more and more everyday. He gets on all fours then he rocks and falls down. He gets so upset he is not moving but he is so close to crawling!!

All in all he is blast to hang out with and we love to see him change everyday!

Counter Tops

We're getting closer to having the kitchen finished. Last weekend, Don and Lori came down and we worked on counter tops. The little old lady sure liked pastel colors. The kitchen was purple, the master bath as pink, and the guest bathroom was blue. Now they are all a dark brown color. The counter top is WilsonArt HD and is supposed to look like granite. It turned out pretty good. Don did almost all of the work and gets the credit for a successful project. It was his experience and tools that helped us through this one. Matt finished up everything this weekend and they are all installed again. Here a some shots of the work. You can see who did the work! We're only short the backsplash now and the kitchen will be finished. We're debating between tile and a stamped tin type product. We're also slowly reclaiming the garage. Each completed project means a section of the garage opens back up. There's room for the Yukon again, but the Jeep still has to sit out in the snow. :(

OK, Matt did do some of the work.
