2 weeks old
What a good baby we have. He loves people who come over to see him and really is very easy going. He has had a lot of people in the last 2 weeks come and see him and really likes to be held. Went to the tub a few times and really likes it as long as you don't wash him just let him float! He is very happy to sleep all day long, and sometimes I wake him up because his belly is asking for food! I have put him in his crib grandpa Don made him and he loves to look at the fish light the Mike McKenzie crew got him!! Sorry we have not got a lot of pictures up it's been a very very fast 2 weeks.

Happy 4th of July
Ok, we're a little late on the 4th of July, but these were some cool pics we got this year. We're lucky that we only live a few blocks from where the city puts on the show. We can sit in our driveway and get the full effect.

The guy that puts the show on each year is a local native who started his firework business in a small stand outside of town. It has grown into a huge fireworks distributorship and he does displays for major events. He is the guy who does all the fireworks for the Colorado Rockies.

This year's show was another good one!

Josh decided to sleep during the show. He's hanging out in his 4th of July outfit!

Joshua Dean McKenzie
6-25-2008
7 pounds 2 oz 20 inches

Our first week has gone by so fast! We all went home on Sunday June 29th and wow what a week it has been. Grandma Lori and Aunt Linda came home with us and have been a great deal of help. Josh is a great baby and it has been a wonderful week. We have had a few set backs with nursing but we had been told it could happen. Joshua still needs to learn how to suck, swallow and breathe!! He was born closer to 35 weeks and not the 37 weeks the doctors thought he was. This is why we are having a harder time with breathing while being too cuddled and eating. Other than that we finally have a post and are very happy to have this little man!!! Thank you to all for all the phone calls and emails!!! Matt, Jena, Josh and Hoss!!
